RAMAYANA- The Ancient Splendour !

Annapurna dancers proudly bring alive India’s most popular and well loved epic -the wonderfully rich and enchanting story of the brave Prince Rama and his beautiful wife Sita.

The evening is a grand celebration of the colourful pageantry of Prince Rama’s life. The joys of celebration of his wedding, the sadness of the long exile to the forest, the abduction of his wife and his victory over the evil ten headed king Ravana -all brought alive by traditional dancing and storytelling with puppetry, masks, stunning costumes and original music.

Join in this adventurous journey to ancient and mystic India and celebrate the true spirit of Diwali – The festival of Indian lights with colours, movement, rhythms and expression!

An almost impossible challenge is set by the King Janaka. Whoever wants to marry Princes Sita, his only daughter has to lift the heavy golden bow given to him by the gods and string it.
